01.Eligibility & Participation

Participation is open to registered residential societies/apartments taking part in Berger Priyo Pujo 2026, subject to the registration and shortlisting process communicated by the organizer.

As per the activity timeline, the Alpona Contest and Little Picasso submission stage is intended for the Top 30 finalist apartments/societies selected under the Abashan Pujo contest.

Each participating society/apartment must nominate an authorized representative for all official communication, submission, and prize-related coordination.

All entries must comply with the contest criteria, timelines, brand guidelines and upload requirements communicated by Berger Priyo Pujo.

02.Alpona Contest – Criteria

Each participating society must create an Alpona measuring a minimum of 10 ft × 4 ft in front of the pandal.

The Berger Priyo Pujo logo must be visibly incorporated/present in the Alpona.

A clear photograph of the completed Alpona must be uploaded on the Berger Priyo Pujo website along with the Berger paint cans used/displayed for the activity.

The submitted photograph should clearly show the complete Alpona, branding and Berger paint cans. Incomplete, unclear, or misleading submissions will be rejected.

The Alpona should be created for the participating society/apartment and must not infringe any third-party copyright, trademark, or other intellectual-property rights.

03.Little Picasso – Criteria

A minimum of 20 children per participating society must take part across the two eligible age groups.

Age Group 1: 5–10 years.

Age Group 2: 11–15 years.

Theme: “Durga Puja and everything associated with the spirit of Pujo.”

Children may use crayons, water colours or any other preferred art medium.

Artwork must be the child participant’s own original work and should be created for the contest. Entries will be disqualified where substantial adult execution or copied artwork is established.

Photographs/scans of the artworks must be uploaded in the format and within the period communicated by Berger Priyo Pujo. The society/apartment must retain the original artwork until completion of the contest and prize process, if requested for verification.

04.Selfie Contest

The Berger Khushrangi Pujo standee will be installed at the participating residential complex by event representative before Mahalaya (10 October).

Residents must click a photograph/selfie beside the Berger Khushrangi Pujo standee to participate in the Berger Selfie Contest.

Participants must post the photograph on their Instagram and/or Facebook account as a post or story.

The post/story must tag Berger Priyo Pujo and Berger Paints India Limited.

Participants must ensure that their social media profile/post is publicly visible during the contest period for verification.

Entries will be evaluated based on creativity, presentation, and overall engagement/appeal.

Selected interesting and creative posts/stories will stand a chance to win exciting prizes.

Each participant may submit multiple entries; however, selection of winners will be at the sole discretion of Berger Paints.

Any incomplete, inappropriate, copied or incorrectly tagged entry will be considered invalid.

Berger Paints’ decision regarding the selection of winners will be final and binding.

By participating, contestants’ consent to Berger Paints reposting or featuring their submitted photographs/content on its digital and social media platforms for promotional purposes.

05.Prize Structure

Prize note: Little Picasso prizes are stated as gifts valued at ₹5,000 each. The exact gift/item may be determined by the organizer and may not be exchangeable for cash unless specifically communicated otherwise.

06.Key Contest Timeline

Timeline disclaimer: Dates/timings are based on the supplied activity timeline and may be modified by the organizer due to operational, technical, festival-calendar or other reasonable requirements. Any revised schedule officially communicated by Berger Priyo Pujo will prevail.

07.Submission & Verification

Entries must be submitted through the Berger Priyo Pujo website, or any other official submission channel specifically communicated by the organizer.

The participating society/apartment is responsible for ensuring that all uploaded information, photographs, and participant details are complete and accurate.

Late, incomplete, duplicate, illegible, manipulated or incorrectly submitted entries will be rejected.

The organizer may request original artwork, additional photographs, age proof for child participants, society verification or any other reasonable supporting information before confirming a winner.

Any material misrepresentation, falsified information or violation of the contest criteria may result in disqualification.

08.Judging & Winner Selection

Entries will be evaluated by the jury panel appointed by Berger Priyo Pujo and Berger officials and top 30 finalists will be selected as per that.

Top 30 finalists pujo Alpona & little Picasso entries will be evaluated by art college students and top 10 winners will be selected from those.

Judging may consider adherence to the brief, creativity, visual impact, relevance to the theme, execution, originality, presentation, and compliance with the mandatory criteria.

The decision of the appointed judges and/or organizer in relation to eligibility, evaluation and winner selection will be final for the contest process, subject to applicable law.

The organizer is not obliged to provide individual scores, detailed judging notes or correspondence regarding the jury’s decision.

09.Child Participation, Consent & Safety

Participation by a child in Little Picasso must be with the knowledge and consent of the child’s parent/legal guardian and the participating society/apartment.

The society/apartment is responsible for obtaining any necessary parental/guardian permissions for participation, photography, submission and prize administration.

Children should be appropriately supervised during the activity. Art materials used should be age-appropriate and used in accordance with their instructions and safety precautions.

Personal information relating to children should not be publicly displayed or uploaded beyond what is specifically required by the official contest submission process.

10.Photographs, Publicity & Usage Rights

By submitting an entry, the participating society/apartment confirms that it has the necessary permissions to share the submitted photographs/artwork for contest administration and publicity connected with Berger Priyo Pujo.

Berger Priyo Pujo/organizer may display, reproduce, crop, resize or publish submitted contest photographs and winning entries on its website, social media, event communication, reports and promotional materials, with reasonable attribution where appropriate.

Copyright in a child’s original artwork remains with the creator/rights holder; the submission grants the organizer a non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to use the submitted image/artwork for the contest and related Berger Priyo Pujo communication.

11.Prizes & Prize Fulfilment

Prizes are subject to successful verification of eligibility and compliance with the contest conditions.

Cash prizes, where applicable, will be processed to the eligible winning society/apartment or authorized recipient in the manner communicated by the organizer, subject to required documentation and applicable tax/statutory requirements.

Prizes are non-transferable except where the organizer expressly permits otherwise. No additional compensation will be payable for delays caused by incomplete documentation or circumstances outside the organizer’s reasonable control.

12.General Conditions

The organizer reserves the right to verify entries, amend procedural details, extend or shorten submission windows, or cancel/suspend a contest stage where reasonably necessary because of technical failure, force majeure, safety concerns, fraud, operational constraints or circumstances beyond reasonable control.

Any change that materially affects participation or winner selection will be communicated through an appropriate official channel where reasonably practicable.

The organizer is not responsible for failed uploads, network interruptions, device issues, corrupted files or other technical problems outside its reasonable control.

Participation must not involve unlawful, offensive, discriminatory, defamatory or unsafe content. Such entries may be removed/disqualified.

In the event of inconsistency between these Terms & Conditions and a later official written contest communication, the later communication will apply to the extent of that inconsistency.

These Terms & Conditions are intended for contest administration and may be supplemented with website privacy notices, consent language or statutory disclosures as required.
